Welcome to Our Training

An international training program on digital & AI tools for youth mental health

What is the Training?

The Training Program is one of the central activities of our project and represents an important step towards empowering youth workers in Europe. The focus of the program is on exploring how digital and artificial intelligence tools can be meaningfully used in supporting the mental health of young people.

During six intensive days, the training will bring together 16 participants from Serbia, Croatia, Hungary, and Belgium. Through interactive workshops, group work, and peer learning, participants will exchange experiences, test innovative approaches, and develop practical skills that they can immediately apply in their daily work with youth.

Objectives

The Training Program is designed with several key objectives:

  • To equip youth workers with the digital and AI competencies they need to respond to the challenges young people face today.

  • To foster innovative approaches in the field of mental health, combining traditional methods of support with new technological solutions.

  • To promote inclusion and diversity, ensuring that youth workers can better reach those young people who live in rural areas, face economic difficulties, or live with disabilities.

  • To build a strong network of cooperation among organizations and individuals across Europe, encouraging peer support and long-term partnerships.

In short, the training is not only about gaining knowledge – it is about building a community of youth workers ready to innovate and make a difference.

Who Can Apply?

The call for participants is open until 21 September 2025. Youth workers, educators, social workers, and other professionals who are directly engaged with young people are warmly invited to apply.

Particular attention will be given to ensuring diversity among participants. We encourage applications from those working with youth with fewer opportunities, from rural and remote areas, as well as those supporting young people with disabilities. This way, the training will reflect the realities of different communities and bring forward a wide range of perspectives.

Agenda

The detailed agenda will be announced soon, but the program will include a carefully balanced mix of interactive sessions, expert-led workshops, group discussions, and practical exercises. Over the course of six days, participants will not only acquire theoretical knowledge but will also work together on designing concrete tools and approaches that can be used in their organizations.

Expected Outcomes

By the end of the training, participants will:

  • Gain a deeper understanding of how digital and AI tools can be used to promote mental health among young people.

  • Develop concrete skills and methods that can be transferred directly into their youth work practice.

  • Contribute to the creation of an e-book that will collect and share the main outcomes and methods of the training.

  • Become part of an international network of youth workers who are committed to innovation, cooperation, and the well-being of young people.
