On Monday, March 9, a local dissemination event of the HEARTS – Harnessing Digital and AI Tools for the Mental Health of Youth project was held at the office of the Youth Association Novotarium in Požarevac.
The event brought together youth workers, educators, and members of the local community to present the main results of the Erasmus+ project and share experiences gained during the research, testing, and application of digital and AI tools that can support the mental health and well-being of young people.
During the presentation, participants had the opportunity to explore a variety of digital applications designed to support emotional awareness, relaxation, stress management, and peer support in digital environments. The discussion also focused on practical ways these tools can be integrated into youth work and educational activities.
A special emphasis was placed on the responsible and critical use of digital technologies. Participants reflected on how digital tools can help young people better understand their emotions, develop healthy habits, and access support networks, while also highlighting the important role of youth workers as facilitators who guide and contextualize the use of such technologies.
The event also introduced the HEARTS Toolkit, a practical guide developed within the project. The toolkit includes workshop models, methods, and recommendations for youth workers who want to incorporate digital and AI tools into their work to support young people’s mental health.
The HEARTS project aims to strengthen the capacities of youth workers and make mental health resources more accessible to young people through innovative digital approaches.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and contributed to the discussion.
A detailed report from the event, including photos and highlights from the presentations, is available in the Workshops & Events section.
